What Is MOPS?

What is MOPS?

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and is an international organization that exists to encourage, equip, and help women become the best moms that they can be! Women who are pregnant or have young children (birth through kindergarten) are all invited to join MOPS. MOPS provides an opportunity to meet other moms and make the journey of motherhood together. We share our experiences, learn from one another, support each other, and laugh together. MOPS meetings are a wonderful place to build friendships and have fun with other moms. In other words, it's a playdate for moms! At each of our meetings, moms enjoy a chance to socialize over breakfast. A typical meeting includes a speaker on special topics related to motherhood, a creative craft project, , and discussion groups that allow you to get to know other moms more closely.

Is childcare provided?

Yes, childcare during all meetings is lovingly provided through the MOPPETS program. We provide a fun, nurturing environment for your kids to play and learn while you take a well-deserved break! The dedicated MOPPETS volunteers provide individual attention to each child during the MOPS meeting. Children enjoy going to MOPPETS because they love the activities and interaction with friends.

 How much does MOPS cost?

Registration for MOPS is $24 for the year for MOPS international fees. Each meeting is $5 (your first meeting is free),this includes childcare for your children, breakfast, craft supplies and service projects.
